Scott, Paul, and Toni Johnson combined their skills and abilities to establish Hot Shot Video & Productions, Inc. over 15 years ago.
Hot Shot & Video Productions Inc., is a full service production company in Van Nuys, California and along with their sister company UPStage LLC, has a full sound stage with green screen capabilities. Hot Shot Video & Productions shoots documentaries for A&E, the History Channel, and Greystone Communications for many shows such as “The ancient Mysteries Series” in Egypt, “The Roman Empire Series” throughout Europe, “Napoleon War of the Waterloo”, “Wild West Tech”, Dog Fights Tails of the Gun, National Geographic’s Secrets of the Bible, Court TV’s Investigators and Murder by the Book just to name a few.
We are currently in our second season of the Call – 911 Series on Investigation Discovery.
Paul Johnson
Prior to Hot Shot Video & Productions, Inc., Paul spent twenty- five years working with Fox News, Fox Television, Fox Entertainment and Metro Media as a lighting director and cameraman. With 14 years as Director of Photography for Greystone Communications, Digital Ranch Production, and many other Production Companies Paul is a master at his craft.
Scott Johnson
Hot Shot Video & Productions, Inc. is a family run enterprise, with Scott Johnson handling the Audio with over seven years experience working at Fox as Audio Engineer for the television show “A Current Affair”, and fifteen years providing expertise as an audio engineer, also training dozens of people to become professional audio techs.
Toni Johnson
Toni Johnson is the business manager with expertise in business management and production.
